Angela Mariani
CEO

Angela Mariani began her Public Relations career with Fendi at their headquarters in Rome in 1985, and rose to become Corporate Director of Public Relations, North America, by 1990. She established and managed the New York office and was responsible for all communications and marketing activity, including new store openings, launch of new product lines, and special events, as well as ongoing press relations and advising on local and national media planning.  She became an acknowledged public relations expert on the transition of an international brand into the US market.

In 1995, convinced that her many years of in-house experience could effectively be brought to an agency, Mariani founded C&M Media, Ltd. The company has grown and thrived under her direction and now, some sixteen years later, can claim to having been instrumental in the launch of some significant brands all the while maintaining close contact with the highest level of media as well as key industry players.

Angela is a graduate of Harvard University. She serves as a trustee of the Harvard Advocate, the university literary magazine, is on the board of Henry Street Settlement House, and plays an active role in many New York charity committees.

 

Seema Mehta
Vice President

After graduating from New York University, Seema joined a jewelry company to learn the fundamentals of the jewelry industry. She then brought this production knowledge to Chopard where she handled merchandising, marketing strategies, public relations efforts, and launch events. While working at Chopard, she built strong relationships with national and trade media.

Seema came to C&M Media in 2001. Through developing relationships and spearheading initiatives she proved her worth on many fronts, rising quickly within the agency. As of 2005 she became the head of the accessories division. A year later she became a Vice President and a partner in the Company. She now heads the accessories division at C&M Media, which has developed and grown under her discerning eye. Brands under her guidance have been introduced, re-launched, and established in the market, becoming some of the most favored brands among editors and the public alike.

Seema has created numerous sales and marketing programs tailored to her client's needs. Incorporating digital media, regional/sales focused events and co-branding partnerships, Seema has helped build brand awareness for: Montblanc, Garrard, Heidi Klum for Mouawad, Temple St.Clair, Cole Haan, Botkier, Samantha Thavasa and luxury lifestyle brands such as Frette and Dom Perignon.
